about

This is a song based on a groove that Ed learnt in Bamako in Mali 10 years ago. As soon as he played it Mamboi had just the song and melody to compliment the feel of the tune. Mamboi sings of history and how we all carry a story. Djelore, also written Jalorreh sings of all the amazing deeds we have lived through.

This was remastered from a lost mp3 of a rough mix that Ed made before he was robbed in the Cape Verdes. All the original stems were lost and we thought we would never hear the song again until Mamboi sent Ed a copy he had on his phone, and now we are happy to share this tune with all its imperfections with the world. We hope to re-record again oneday soonish.
